- Always meet the pet and seller in person at the place where the animal lives.
- Check identification, vaccination, microchip and relevant health-test records.
- Do not pay a deposit before you have verified the pet and seller.
- Walk away if details do not match the advert or the seller creates urgency.
- Report suspicious adverts or animal-welfare concerns to our support team.
